Steve was excellent we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening - the girls did not want to go home they could have played with the items all night. Steve was very patient with them as they were so excitable they wouldnt stop talking but he was lovely and made it really fun!.

Brownies had a very enjoyable time. They were totally enthralled with the tasks in hand and tried very hard to succeed. There was a very lighthearted atmosphere while they were actually concentrating on learning something new. The leaders too were very pleased to succeed in mastering new skills. Thank you very much for a very successful evening..

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers
We booked Shooting Stars for our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers Fun Weekend. The age range was huge, 6 to 17, but Stu, the instructor was excellent with all of them. Assessing their abilities and guiding them appropriately. \nWe were very pleased with the whole experience and you were very popular all weekend. \nOn a personal note I found you easy to deal with, professional and the instructor, Stu, was very friendly and helpful..

Allocating a different circus skill to each year group was excellent. This meant that the final showcase was very varied and just right for each age group. The children and staff enjoyed the free choice for the last 15 mins of each workshop. Fabulous to find someone who can engage with and lead children in such a strong way whist still allowing them to have such fun. Thank you so much Paul - a real treat for us all. .

Apologies if this is a repeat as not sure if previous was submitted correctly.\nMilo attended on time and did a great job entertaining the kids for 2+ hours. He laid the ground rules at the start to ensure safety and to avoid equipment being lost next door! The group was mostly 9 year old boys and there were a lot of other distractions in the garden eg. Trampoline, football posts, playhouse, swing etc but Milo managed to cope with these - it also allowed for some kids to have more individual attention at times. On the day, there was a high pollen count and I suspect his red nose may have been due to hay fever!? but he was very enthusiastic throughout despite this! Many thanks Milo - Ethan very much enjoyed his birthday party..

This was truly an amazing experience! We loved how it allowed children to learn skills they wouldnt have necessarily been exposed to before and the range of activities was fantastic. We were able to see the children in a different light and noticed that children who were usually quite reserved were confident to try new things like the tight rope. The adults were able to get involved, even the Head Teacher joined in whilst passing through.
Absolutely loved this experience and we will definitely be booking again for next year!
Thank you!

Paul was our instructor. He really engaged with the Beavers and listened to every word - he picked activities they would be able to do - by the end of the night they could spin a plate while they laid down and rolled over - they where all really pleased with themselves.\nAfter the Beavers hour session the scouts came in for a two hour session.\nThe scouts had a great time as well and by the end of the evening they could juggle with scarves and do tricks with a diablo - at the end they had a free for all - Paul had lots of equipment so they could all try whatever they wanted! The scouts are now well on their way to getting the circus badge.\nThroughly recommended.\nThank you\nLiz .

Absolutely fabulous evening which entertained Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers at different levels. Our instructor, Paul, was everything that he needed to be and more as we leaders didnt have to do a thing other than learn skills ourselves! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing and at a very reasonable price - would definitely book again!!.

Shooting Stars came to our Rainbow group last week. I was delighted with both the content of the evening and Winstons rapport with the girls. The Rainbows learned several new circus skills within the hour and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The session was pitched exactly right for the age group 5-7 year old girls. I would highly recommend Shooting Stars..

On a previous occasion a low tight rope was brought for the children to have a go at - it would be great to have this next time as is something they rarely have the opportunity to try out.

Really enjoyable session - the children are completely enthused for putting on their own circus show now. Thank you.

Excellent evening, all the girls enjoyed it. Steve spent time with the less able girls, boosting their confidence and explaining instructions to them. As all the girls were enjoying it so much we finished late but Steve was happy to carry on and didn't try and rush to pack up. Will definitely book them again next year. Thanks for a great evening..

We thoroughly enjoyed having Shooting Stars Circus Skills in to do the workshop. Paul, the instructor, was organised, friendly with the children and kept them engaged throughout. Pauls explanations and demonstrations were clear and easy to follow. Many of the children were able to do tricks with the spinning plates and flower sticks by the end of the day. As a suggestion, each class could have learned a different skill so each class can perform what they have learnt to the other children. It was a bit repetitive at the end of the day when many children performed the same thing..

Nick was an excellent presenter. He had great presence and captured the childrens attention really well. His voice was loud and clear at all times. He entertained with the circus skills but made the science learning explicit really well. The children really enjoyed it and learnt about forces in an enjoyable way. The show was well resourced and had a real wow factor. The star that made it really was Nick who was a wonderful performer who captivated the children..

The instructor succesfully introduced 3 special needs group s to introduction to juggling and plate spinning acheiving both engagement, enjoyment and appropriate level materials for the children, as well as the opportunity for both success and skill development. We rounded off with a show for everyone by the instructor which was magical, funny, and regarding which the children were fully engaged and intrigued and left on a high. One group also tried stilts supported by instructor..
