We booked circus skills to develop confidence and self-esteem. This was achieved - children were keen to share their new found skills and we were amazed how quickly they learned the skills. It was great fun for both children and adults!.

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts
Paul arrived in plenty of time to set up for 2 sessions of circus fun, with Beavers, Cubs and Scouts! Both groups learned two new skills, will Paul giving step by step instruction and encouragement.
They then had plenty of time to play with the mini bikes, unicycles, juggling equipment and clown clothes! The time just whizzed by and every participant really enjoyed themselves! Thanks Paul,
Liz

Paul was very enthusiastic and tailored the evening to cover the age range of our girls.

He was patient and helped those that were having a challenge with their juggling!

The equipment was great and the girls loved having a go on a mini bike and trying to balance on a unicycle!

Probably one of the best meetings ever was a comment I heard repeated many times over the days following Shooting Stars session at our beaver meeting ... and that with tough competition from camps ! We had beavers , young leaders and adults at the meeting and Steve was able to accommodate us all with new tricks whilst keeping everyone entertained. And at the end we had qualified for the creative activity badge . An hour and a half flew by , and my only suggestion would be to allow more free time at the end to play with all the other equipment Steve brought along such as the unicycles and stilts. .

I felt Steve is really in tune with what children like and need. He differentiates fantastically so all children can achieve and those that excel can do so. There was a good range of activities and the children responded enthusiastically. Parents also really valued the assemblies and seeing all our children, including those are sight and disability challenged, achieving. .

We had a great evening with 22 Scouts learning how to juggle and use a diablo. The feedback Ive received from Scouts indicate that they enjoyed the evening. Some wanted more time to do the other things that were available, but I completely appreciate that in a two hour slot you can only squeeze so much in that is going to be meaningful. They learned some great basic skills from Steve, whose a very good teacher, and were going to be building on these.\nhighly recommended.

The workshop was great! Thank you very much. The children were enthused throughout the whole day.

One suggestion would be to really emphasise the importance of not trying some of these tricks at home and I feel that this was not emphasised enough which worried the staff overhearing the childrens conversations afterwards.
